The Academy of Dance (Owner-Tammy Taylor) is a wonderfully welcoming dance studio located in Wooster, Ohio. This family-friendly studio offers classes to all ages from pre-k to adult in various styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, acrobatics, baton twirling, modern and contemporary. The small-classroom atmosphere enhances each student’s ability to learn one on one with their instructors and establish life-long friendships with their peers.
Academy of Dance has a rich history of being affiliated with both national and state level organizations: The Cecchetti Council of America (Ohio Committee) and Dance Masters of America (Chapter 16: Ohio). The students here at the Academy of Dance have the ability to participate in the educational conventions and competitions that are put on by these organizations to gain rewards and feedback on their routines as well as Cecchetti certifications to represent ballet technical achievement.
Each year, in mid-June, the Academy of Dance comes together to show off all the hard work they have done and new exciting things they have learned.
